Cabbage Pitcher

The Cabbage Pitcher by Bordallo Pinheiro is a centerpiece-worthy serving vessel that brings a lush, botanical energy to the dining table. Shaped to resemble a full, blooming head of cabbage, this 1.5-liter earthenware pitcher features an incredibly detailed relief of overlapping leaves, complete with ruffled edges and life-like fiber veins. The sturdy, ergonomic handle is designed to mimic a natural stalk, providing a secure grip for pouring water, iced tea, or fresh juice. Finished in a rich, multi-tonal green glaze that settles into the ceramic ridges to create depth, this pitcher serves as a functional tribute to 19th-century Portuguese artistry, making it as much a conversation piece as it is a practical kitchen essential.
